Custom Manomento pieces worn by two models

Custom Pieces: What You Can Change and What You Cannot

Custom is a word that promises a lot and rarely defines itself. Setting the boundaries early saves disappointment later, so here is the actual list.

What you can change

Placement within the printable area, scale within a set range, and the base garment colour where the artwork allows it. On several designs you can also choose which of two panels carries the graphic. These are all decisions that do not affect how the piece was drawn.

What you cannot change

The artwork itself. We do not recolour a design, remove elements from it, or combine parts of two designs. Each drawing was composed as a whole, and editing it produces something that looks close to the original while quietly losing what made it work.

Why we hold that line

A design is not a set of interchangeable layers. Line weight, spacing and contrast are chosen against a specific fabric colour and a specific size. Change one and the rest stops holding together. Saying no here is what keeps the pieces consistent.

Personal artwork

We do not print supplied images. It is a fair thing to want and there are good services that do it well, but it is a different business from ours. Every piece we sell is drawn in house, and that is the whole proposition.

Before you order

Check the flat measurements on the technical drawing, decide on placement, and remember that custom runs are produced to order and sit outside the normal returns window. If you are unsure about fit, order a standard piece first.
